I have been using this battery tender on my boat for quite some time. My batteries always stay fully charged thanks to it. The tender maintains the batteries even through the cold winter. Come spring time i'm confident in taking my boat out onto the water again. Additionally I have never worried about overcharging the batteries because this tender has built in safeguards against it. It's been a solid purchase and I would recommend it for Boats, lawn equipment and anything else Having a 12 volt battery system.

Don't be fooled by cheap tenders because cheaps only only float the battery and do not work in cold temps.This keeps my battery charged even in 20 degree weather.

This 4 AMP battery charger works great! It’s super easy to use. You really don’t need the instructions for the most part. It’s a very good value for the money.

I purchased this battery charger due to the many positive reviews and comments and I am NOT disappointed! I have struggled with my car since I purchased it because every spring after I take it out of storage the battery has died. I have needed to buy a new battery each spring because the battery was ruined. Being a vehicle that isn't driven often, and stored in the winter months, I decided that I needed a battery charter and maintainer to keep the battery charged when not in use for long periods of time. It is crazy how fast the battery will drain from sitting for a week or longer. This charger has been the solution to all of my problems! I have used it twice so far since I got the car out of storage because I work from home so don't drive it often. It is easy to hook up to the battery (red + clamp) and car frame (black - clamp) and the indicator lights show you exactly the state of charge of your vehicle. Red while charging, blinking green when battery is at 80% charge and then solid green when fully charged. I'm no mechanic and do not have an extensive amount of car knowledge yet even I found this to be very simple to use. I feel safe in the knowledge that I can operate this and that it will not overcharge or damage my battery. I am so thankful to all of the detailed Amazon reviews and would highly recommend this product. Of note, I did purchase the extension cable that is compatible with this item because I only have one electrical outlet in my small garage where this vehicle is stored. It will only reach the outlet if I back the car in. With the extension cable it will reach even if I pull the car in forward. I also have another vehicle in a different garage that the outlet is quite far away, so having the additional length is handy, but not necessary if your outlet is close to your car battery. Overall this purchase is WELL worth the money and I would highly recommend.
